Fertilizing
All granular fertilizer applications are undertaken with our new for 2007 KRM Bogballe spreader. This can either be mounted on the back of a tractor, or on the Bateman. The computer is set up for on the move variable rate. For constant rates, there is an on board weigher that is constantly weighing and re-calibrating.
Liquid fertilizer and ASL are applied with our Bateman 25. With the dribble bars, we can apply from 30 units up to 160 units per acre. In addition, we have two 10,000 litre bowsers with vacuum pumps on that transfer the liquid from source to wherever the sprayer is on the farm.
