Grassland Work

We offer both clamped and baled silage. Our clamped silage is done in partnership with Chris Kearton who has a John Deere self propelled forager.
We can offer a complete package from mowing using a mower conditioner. Then if nessesery we can spread the grass with our 6 rotor Kuhn tedder.
We specilise in making Haylage for the equine industry.

For us to bale grass we insist it is rowed up either by us or with a customers own rake, that can put atleast 6m of grass in the row.
This is to enable the balers to have a good supply of grass, meaning better bales are made, and the balers do not have to travel at a too greater forward speed.

The third photograph is of our 2 John Deere square balers working at Cogdon Hall near Reeth, North Yorkshire. They make 4 string bales which are 80cm X 80cm.
New for the 2006 season we have bought a New Holland Baler. Which makes a 80cm X 90cm bale which also has 4 strings on it.

For wrapping we have 2 teams both using Mc Hale wrappers which have there own engines. This allows the bales to be wrapped by remote contol from the Loader cab.
We can wrap bales in either green or black wrap. With as many layers as the customer requires.
We can also offer grass harrowing and flat rolling.
