AWSM Farms currently farms land on various different agreements with varying inputs from the land owner. We are willing to use any agreement the land owner wants, or our agents GSC Chartered Surveyors can help create an agreement suitable for any situation.
We use all modern farming techniques to allow us to farm land as efficiently and profitably as possible, and because we are buying large amounts of inputs it allows us to make further savings.
Below is how we would farm land that we have full control of.
- Plan cropping with farmer/agent
- Sow crops, using techniques shown on our contracting pages
- GPS soil map fields for P, K and lime requirements
- Apply P, K variable rate
- Apply first dose of Spring Nitrogen as Ammonium Sulphate 80 units
- Apply remaining nitrogen, variable rate using Satellite images of fields
- Apply fungicides etc, using high clearance sprayers
